Hello and welcome - my name is Martina and it will be my pleasure to show you Prague and the Czech Republic or teach you Dutch.

I'm a professional and licenced tour guide since 2011. I specialize in Prague and the Jewish Town of Prague, I passed the necessary exams at Prague City Tourism and the Jewish Museum of Prague. I am a proud member of the Czech Republic's Guides Association (member of World Federation of Guides Association - WFTGA). I have the 2nd degree Czech Tourist Guide Identification card with a professional qualification.

I was born in Prague, I grew up and have lived here for most of my life. Therefore it will be my pleasure to show you the beauties and hidden gems of my hometown. I guide in English, Dutch and occasionally in Czech too. I am used to metric and imperial measurement systems.

I specialize in private tours and all of them are tailor made to the wishes and requests of the customers. I do my best to add new interesting tours to my portfolio as the city of Prague has a lot to offer. Also, often I attend lectures by the Jewish Museum of Prague, the Municipal Library of Prague and the National Heritage Institute of the Czech Republic to broaden and deepen my knowledge.

I graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium where I obtained Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies  (major Islam, minor Judaism) and Master's degree in World Religions (Judaism, History of antisemitism, Islam etc.). I love arts, architecture, history and of course foreign languages, cultures and traditions.
